This course is designed for automotive technicians who want to gain an understanding of exhaust after treatment systems. The course covers the principles of operation of exhaust after treatment systems, including the components of these systems, their functions, and the various types of after treatment systems used in vehicles.
The course includes both theoretical and practical training and covers a range of topics, from the basic principles of exhaust aftertreatment to the diagnosis and repair of common faults.

• Discover the principles of operation of different DPF systems
• Learn the principles of combustion and exhaust gas recirculation
• Be able to explain Particulate Filter Systems and associated electronic control systems
• Discuss diagnostic strategies for DPF Systems, with and without additives
